Some concrete is harder than others which makes it more difficult to drill through. Concrete that contains limestone, slag, and coral are somewhat soft and easier to drill. Concrete mixed with river gravel or quartz is of medium difficulty to drill. Flint or granite aggregate is among the most difficult to drill because of its hardness. Cobra Concrete professionals use diamond tipped core drills as small as 1/2″ up to 60″ in diameter.
