Cobra Concrete Cutting Services opened an office in Champaign, IL. We brought along with us our 17 years of experience in concrete excavation, breaking, and concrete patching.

Everyone in the construction business, large or small, at some point, faces the task of concrete excavation. Whether repairing or renovating, Cobra is prepared to make any concrete excavation job as seamless and efficient as possible.

There is much to consider before deciding to break-up and attempt to remove concrete. Our excavation crew will work closely with your project foreman. We will not only plan for the most efficient removal method, but also understand and work within the overall site plan.

Mini Excavators, Demolition Robotics & More

Cobra’s electric mini excavators eliminate the need for hand digging. Our equipment can perform fume-free, which is perfect for working in the proximity of others. We can work in tight places where other equipment may not be able to go. We also have properly trained and experienced operators, who only work in the concrete field.

Also on staff, Cobra has remote-controlled demolition robotic equipment, which features a concrete crusher, a breaker with multiple chisels, and a bucket for excavation. This equipment can reach areas that are less-safe for a technician to work.

Our skid steer services for breaking and removal, will breakdown trenches and take down walls, removing pieces to dumpsters or trucks as needed. In tighter areas, our equipment can break pieces down to size for removal by hand when necessary.

Additional Office Opens in Champaign

In Chicago-land, Cobra has worked with some of the top names in the business on projects for schools, hospitals, malls, condos, city landmarks, and tourist attractions. We are excited about bringing our equipment and expertise for Champaign concrete excavation to the area.

As in our Chicago office, we offer 24-hour immediate response services, realizing that not everyone is on the same time-frame, and that emergencies can and will arise.

Safety the Number One Priority

We have added additional experienced field personnel, who have obtained their OSHA-30 Hour Construction Safety and Health Card. With safety being our number one priority, all employees attend safety meetings and receive additional safety training as needed.

When working in concrete there is always the possibility of electrical conduits, water pipes and other potential hazards buried within, or underneath the concrete. Our experts, with specialized antennas, will scan the area for possible obstructions before we cut and excavate.

We can patch back precast or wall panels, and also patch around doors and windows. We assure that these newly patched areas will not buckle or shift as they set. We are proud of the relationships we have built in the construction industry. Some of our awards and accolades include: ASA 2014 Chicago Subcontractor of the Year, Concrete and Sawing Drilling Association Level 2 Certification, ASA Chicago Safety Award Recipient, and Ranked #42 in the Inc. Magazine “Fastest Growing Construction Companies in the Country.”

In any industry, staying in control of your fleet is crucial to success. Perhaps an obvious example, the military functions under a tight command to effectively complete missions. Though fundamentally different, the concrete cutting industry requires control as well, especially for large and quickly expanding companies who want to be one step ahead. The Husqvarna Fleet Services system is a cutting-edge industry innovation that allows goal-oriented concrete service companies to function under complete order.
